A big dome mirror is my favourite add to any playground. It’s an excellent tool for exploration, a fun surface for sensory play, brightens and lightens a dark area, can help to eliminate problem playground ‘blind spots’ and its also fun for goofy-face-making-play.

My dad built us a playhouse when we were kids. I drove by the old house today and was shocked to see it was no longer there. 30 some odd years later and I honestly expected to see it still standing. He builds things to last. Thankfully, I still have photos and more importantly, incredible memories.

I wanted to do some sort of mural on the playhouse and thought it would be fun to see what I could make using recyclables and scrap metal.
