Thrift Store Activity #1

I bought a bag of little spoons for $1.99 at Value Village. The kids love them. I put them into a burlap bag and added them to their little play diner area.

Phoebe was commenting on the different images on the spoons, so I decided to make her a little activity.

First, I took a close up photo of each spoon. (I choose 7 that were very different)

Using our colour printer, I printed the photos on paper.

Then, I cut each image out and used Mod Podge to stick and seal it to a shell.

I arranged a tray and set it out for the kids.

I always try to make the activity look beautiful and inviting. Offering a child something beautiful is one simple way to show them that they are valued and respected.
