We love to play ‘grocery store’ and ‘restaurant’ so pretend food is a favourite.

This was super fast and easy to make, cost next to nothing and the kids love it.

Save the images at the bottom to print and make a set for yourself!

Here’s what you need.

  • Scraps of wood (small pieces in a variety of shapes) Ask at your local lumber yard for free scaps
  • Sandpaper
  • Food Images (take from below or use old cooking magazines)
  • Mod Podge and Brush
  • Scissors

Sand the rough edges of your scraps of wood.

Cut out the images that you’d like to use and roughly cut to the size of your sanded piece of wood.

Add a nice thick layer of mod Podge to the wood and to the back of the food image. Stick the image to the wood and gently flatten it out, removing any bubbles.

Let it dry and then add a few more layers of Podge (allowing each layer to dry in between coats.)

Right click and save the images below to print.

Let me know how it turns out or if you need any other food images 🙂

As always, I love to hear your comments, questions and always appreciate when you share my posts.❤️

Happy Crafting!
